Chord Detector - tracker MIDI 1.20

Chord Detector offers a unique perspective, anchoring itself in the realm of music theory rather than merely serving as a standard application. This experimental music recognition tool is rooted in a fundamental understanding of sound perception, providing users with a real-time chord tracking experience through their device's microphone. In this application, identified chords are prominently displayed on the screen in large characters, while individual musical notes can be found in smaller font at the bottom.

Among its features is an experimental MIDI recording functionality. While perfect audio to MIDI conversion remains a challenge across the industry, this specific implementation shows promise, particularly for solo instruments. However, it may struggle with full compositions featuring drums and additional noise elements. It should be noted that real-time audio to MIDI conversion might lead to occasional missed tones due to CPU constraints, varying based on the device's capabilities.

Chord detection within the application is currently limited to major, minor, 5th, and 7th chords.
